Akira Midousuji

He is a first year student from Kyoto Fushimi High, he is a member of his school's bicycle club where he is not only known as a cycling ace , but also for his arrogance, underhandedness and for being flamboyant. Though, he isn't the captain of his school's bicycle club, he is actually the one who calls the shots, since he once challenged and beaten the club's captain in race where upon realizing how good he is and how he produced numerous victory reluctantly, surrenders his leadership authority to him.

Apparently, he and Imaizumi knew each other since they once both competed in a cycling tournament, where he played dirty which cost Imaizumi his victory, he has resented him ever-since.
