Arata Izumo

Akatsuki's older brother, who works in the trading business and is known to travel back and forth between Aqua and Man-Home. He considers himself to be among the elite, and enjoys antagonizing his brother from time to time when they meet. In the anime, it is implied that he also lends his brother money from time to time.

At one point, he rents Akari's gondola for the sake of transporting some (Neo) Venezian glass, and after the job is completed, he compliments her for a job well done. "You accepted the job and saw it through. That's what it takes to be a professional".
