Ayumi Arima

Takuya's step mother. She works for the company that is doing the excavation work at Sword Cape, Geo Technics. After becoming a widow, she becomes buried in work to forget about her loss, though there is a strong sense of underlying sadness in her personality.

She is also a good cook. Without her glasses however, she is virtually blind. Ayumi is constantly under pressure from the press due to a recent string of accidents at the work site.
