Lawyer Barrow

A lawyer representative to Sarah's father, Ralph Crewe, in London. He had invested heavily in Ralph's mining operations in India. When he learned of Ralph's sudden death, he asserted the right to recover the debt, took up Sarah's remaining property, except for Emily, and sold it off, and forced the academy to take care of Sarah, who had no relatives.
