Denim

Under Char Aznable, Denim was placed in charge of a recon mission to Side 7 with Slender and Gene to spy on an Earth Federation base that was transporting a new type of mobile suit. When Gene decided to disobey orders and start attacking the base, Denim had no choice but to back him up. When Amuro Ray gets into the cockpit of the RX-78-2 Gundam and critically damages Gene's Zaku, Denim orders Gene to retreat with Slender, until Amuro cleaves and destroys the retreating Zaku. Denim, enraged by the rookie's death, makes one final rush at the Gundam. Amuro, desperate not to explode the incoming Zaku's engine and fatally damage Side 7, runs the Gundam's Beam Saber through the cockpit of the Zaku, stopping it dead in its tracks and instantly incinerating Denim inside.
