Detective

A Taiwanese detective that appears in episode 43. He explains to Motoko that Kuze's presence had a powerful effect on the refugees, and that he went by the name of "Roh", a Chinese character that means serene as a sunny day, and as brutal as a wolf. Kuze also seemed like a ronin, someone who might wander away again and disappear at any time, so the refugees in Taiwan gave him the nickname Roh.

Before she leaves the station, he discloses that her plane will not leave until tomorrow, giving Kusanagi some much needed free time.
