Ginga Izumo

An elementary school student and practitioner of Shorinji Kempo. He was chosen by Dendoh to be one of its pilots during a Garufa attack on the Earth. Short-tempered and impulsive, he is very much the opposite of his fellow pilot Hokuto Kusanagi, who tends to be level-headed and incisive. As a result they sometimes butt heads, but in the end their strengths cover the other's weaknesses. Ginga uses his martial arts knowledge to great effect when controlling Dendoh, taking the lead in close-quarters fights.
