Goutetsu

Goutetsu is the martial arts master of Akuma and Gouken, who trained them in the same martial art style they used. The style would become the basis of Ryu and Ken's fighting style. Goutetsu was killed in battle by his own student, Akuma, who performed the Shun Goku Satsu (Instant Hell Murder or Raging Demon) on him in an honorable death match. The prayer beads that Akuma wears originally belonged to Goutetsu.
