Hanabata was born to Toru Nohkins, president of Nohkins Sports - an equipment making company, and his wife. She grew up with her friend, Tokishikko Dana.

Hanabata is tall and curvy, sporting the largest breasts of the girls in the party. She has short pink hair and green eyes. She typically wears silver armour over a white and red dress.
