Hideo Harada

Hideo Harada, or as he's typically called Doctor, plays the supporting role in Chihayafuru. While working as a doctor, he likes playing Katura in his free time. He is a mentor for Chihaya and he helps and supports her throughout her middle school career at karuta. But in general, Harada acts as the sage helping and guiding the main characters.
