Hiroya Okuyama

Hiroya Okuyama is the number 1 driver of Team Spiral, also known as "Zero 1". Okuyama too believes in Ikeda's "Zero Theory" and is disappointed when he won't be able to use his car's full potential due to the fog. Okuyama, unlike Ikeda is very arrogant and confident in his abilities. He also refuses to greet Project D upon meeting them.

Okuyama was defeated by Takumi Fujiwara after Takumi left him behind after the first hairpin.

In MF Ghost, Okuyama now runs the tuning shop Spiral Zero Autoshop and would also tune several cars such as Kanata's 86 and Aiba's R35.
