Iemon Tamiya

Tamiya Iemon, was a Samurai warrior who later became a Ronin. He was married to Yotsuya Oiwa, who was pregnant with his child. One day it happened that Tamiya was having a heated discussion with Yotsuya Samon, Oiwa's father, after which he said that despite being husband and wife, the must not be together. Blinded in anger, Tamiya murders mr. Samon, and makes his wife think her father got attacked by bandits, over whom he swore revenge.
