Kanegi

Kanegi (金城) is an English teacher at Kaimei High School and the faculty adviser for the softball club. He dislikes the Sket Dan, believing the club to be pointless. His sentences are often marked with interjected English words/phrases, but he is also known to babble. He has an unusual way of throwing a ball, resulting in his students saying his throwing style is laughable and girly. While trying to prove them wrong, he accidentally blows up a storehouse for gym equipment when he throws a ball of blasting powder Chū-san had made.
