Kinnosuke Natsume

Natsume is a student at Tokyo University who studies hard while working as a rickshaw master.

He is a scrawny, bean-curd type, but he respects faith and is passionate about friendship. He invites his best friend Sanshiro to join him in his studies, but eventually quietly watches him grow up. He is modeled after Soseki Natsume.
