Kousaku Matsuda

Matsuda is a 25 year old reporter for the Daily Sports News. Early on, he caught Inokuma Yawara stopping a thief with her judo moves. Seeing the talents of a superstar and wanting to let the world know about her; he went to various lengths to try to pry her secret judo skills out of her. Later on, after getting to know her and her dreams about being a normal girl, he helps her and becomes her confidante and ally in her struggles.
