Mei Ayazuki

Mei Ayazuki is the protagonist of the Meiji Tokyo Renka series, a 16-year-old student who was teleported to the Meiji-era due to a magician named Charlie, and she lost her memories in the process. She is a ‘Tamayori’, one of the few people who can see spirits and ghosts. Mei is courageous and kind, and a bit clumsy at times. She is fond of roast beef, and enjoys eating.

In the present time, Mei’s family runs an antique shop, where she spends most of her time gazing at the various antiques which belonged to her Meiji friends.
