Nomo

The Tsukishima's black-and-white cat. He is named after Hideo Nomo, a former right-handed pitcher in Nippon Professional Baseball and Major League Baseball from Japan.

This character plays a large role in this series, and shows up in almost every scene at Tsukishima's house and at the beginning of anime series. He is often seen eating, sleeping, meowing or just appears in the background throughout the series.
