Philippa Gordon

Philippa "Phil" Gordon is a notable character in Anne of the Island (the third book of the Anne of Green Gables series by L. M. Montgomery). She is portrayed as a beautiful, charming, and outgoing young woman who easily captivates those around her. Coming from a wealthy family, she enjoys a comfortable life, and although she may seem superficial at first, she is generous, loyal, and charismatic.

Phil shares a boarding house with Anne Shirley and other students in Kingsport, becoming one of Anne’s closest friends during her university years.
