Prinny

Prinnies are a class of creatable characters in Nippon Ichi's Makai Senki Disgaia/Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Makai Senki Disgaia 2, and Makai/Phantom Kingdom. They're penguin-like creatures who can not only attack hand-to-hand (er, figuratively, of course) with enemies but will also, when tossed, explode upon impact with anything or anyone it hits. If any other Prinnies are nearby, expect a nice chain-reaction. The story behind Prinnies is that when humans who have been "worthless" during their lives die, they become Prinnies and have to work either in the Netherworld or Celestia to atone, the ultimate goal for them to be reincarnated. There are several different kinds of Prinnies, varying from Captain Prinnies, Prinny Kings, and even unique versions of certain story characters you encounter.
