Riku Uesugi

Member of the Japanese wheelchair rugby team. Originally a rugby player, he was seriously injured in a traffic accident that caused severe burns to the left side of his body as well as the amputation of his left leg. With the dream of winning a gold medal at the Paralympics, he faces a battle against the powerful Australian national team. With little grip on his hands, he scores tries with controlled passes. he is an attacking player.
