Sora has always been a very shy and quiet student, staying to herself as much as she can. Since she was young she's never had any friends, always watching from the sidelines but not talking to anyone. She is tired very often and isn't in any clubs or after-school activities, instead being very talented at the hobbies she enjoys.

Despite being in high school she lives by herself because of her mother's rigorous work and unstable relationship with her father. This allows her to eventually completely stop attending high school until she gets an unlikely knock at her door from her classmate Ayaka Sakurai, a moment that will become a major turning point in the lonely girl's school life.
