A ronin who moves into Edo's Katagi tenements wishing to live out his life in peace and tranquility. Hoping to leave his past behind, he pawns his sword "Kunifusa" and starts keeping a bamboo sword by his side. However, the past isn't ready to relinquish its hold on his life just yet.
