A doctor who has a close relationship with Drambuie and the underworld of the city of Pompier. Dr. Spatlese is a large and muscular chameleon, expert at mimicry, and uses his extendable tongue to attack his opponents.
He is an fierce and formidable enemy, has excellent insight, such as being able to predict Jing's plans in advance. He is the only enemy who defeated Jing and Kir on his own, but he was treated poorly in the anime, where he was portrayed as just a monster working for Drambuie.
In the final showdown, he was caught in the crossfire and received a powerful blow from Jing and Rum, collided with a picture of a skeleton in Van Quart's last painting and died with the same pattern of death as the picture, surrounded by skeletons. In the anime, Dr. Spatlese recives a Kir Royale and disintegrates with a single hit.
