Sui Higure

The older sister of Higure Akane and the eldest daughter of the Higurashi family, the central bloodline of Tobimi Village, and works at Tobimi Shrine. She is a symbolic presence in the village, performing the ritual as the "Mofuji Yaki Shrine Maiden" at the annual autumn festival. She has an elusive and optimistic personality, but she is talented in everything she does and is a good older sister who is closed off to many people. She has a chronic illness that left her so weak she was wheelchair-bound, but after nearly a year of hospitalization, she recovered and returned to the village.
