Taek-joo Kwon

Kwon Taekjoo is the protagonist in the Codename: Anastasia series. In the begining of the novel Agent Kwon Taekjoo is dispatched to Russia with the mission to find "Anastasia", a deadly weapon being developed by Russia nad North Korea. However, this mission changes the course of his life when a diffrent kind of deadly weapon appears.

Taekjoo was raised by his mother after his father died in the military when he was young, leaving Taekjoo with little memory of him. His older brother later followed in their father's footsteps by joining the military, but ended up getting killed in action. An exceptional student, Taekjoo earned scholarships to some of the most prestigious schools in South Korea due to his intelligence. After graduating from high school, he attended college, where he was recruited by the South Korean National Intelligence Agency (the NIS). Taekjoo quickly rose through the ranks and was entrusted with a crucial mission: infiltrating Russian intelligence to gather information on a Russian weapon known as "Anastasia." For this mission, he was paired with a "partner," Zhenya. However, Taekjoo soon discovered that Zhenya was not who he seemed; he was, in fact, the notorious and dangerous "Psikh Bogdanov" (Psycho Bogdanov).
