A strong sailor type, he joined the IPO when he was 12 like Tetsugyu did. He is one of the most powerful members of the organization, with the exception of their Chief. It is he who caused Alberto the Impact to lose an eye and has earned his enmity because of that. He serves as source of strength, wisdom, and a sense of what is right to do for both Tetsugyu and Daisaku. He also provides some important insights into his enemy.
