Yamashiro is an antagonist in one of the stories in Azur Lane. Her real life counterpart is IJN Yamashiro, a Japanese battleship known for her difficulty to be manipulated.
Yamashiro is a very clumsy catgirl, tripping on herself or tending to break things by accident. She is considered as unlucky, like her sister, and her clumsiness is what references to the difficulty of manipulating Yamashiro correctly. She even fires with her guns without always wanting it. She knows how to practice Kagura, a traditional Japanese dance, and takes care of a shrine. Her mask in her hair is also a Kagura mask.
