Arahabaki Yasuke accidentally broke the divine mirror and freed Orihime. As calamity will befall on him, his life (soul) will temporarily be in Orihime's hands and soon in 3 other girls too. He cannot be separated from the person with his soul as he will die. When separated, the only way to revive is by kissing (transfering life energy).
