Chiisana Ai to Suteki na Hibi wo

Following her parents' separation, Himari has become jaded with life and contemplates whether there is any point to it all. Pondering what she can do to change the monotony, Himari sees a boy perched on a window, looking as if he is about to jump out of it. Fearing for his life, she tries to rescue him, only for the boy to fall on top of her and confess his feelings for Himari instead.

Eventually realizing he is the infamous playboy Rui Midorikawa, Himari is hesitant to get involved further with him. Even so, Rui's persistence begins to affect her outlook on life, making Himari wonder if she even deserves to have a relationship with someone like him.
