Not long after the draig vanished from the continent, Crown Guard Commander Alexander is sent to investigate a sharp drop in taxes.

While lost in the remote town of Estrisen, he meets Klain... A strange man who calls him by a nickname and insists he's been waiting for him.

Beneath Klain's hood, Alexander glimpses something impossible: a draig's horn.
