Makio is a high school student in the countryside who has kept his gay identity a secret and has lived his whole life without even making close friends. Shibukawa, who transferred to the same class, is a neighbor of Makio's and tries to forcefully close the gap between them because of their shared love of sweets. Makio, who does not want to get close to anyone, is perplexed, but gradually realizes that he is attracted to Shibukawa's straightforward and gentle personality.
