College student Lee Namwoo considers his life a bottomless pit. No matter how much he strains his body to work and earn money, it seems like he is always hindered by the lack of it, constantly wondering if he will even be able to afford a modest meal. In a random drunken stupor, he shares his financial woes with a complete stranger—Choe Si-eon—who happens to be a company CEO and willing to simply hand cash over to Namwoo.

All Si-eon wants in return is for Namwoo to date him. Although Namwoo's pride would never allow him to accept this, an accident ends in him losing his jobs and having to reevaluate. Si-eon is sweet and gentle, and he has an air of ease that only comes from never having to worry about bills and expenses. They may never see eye-to-eye regarding money, but through this transactional relationship, they may both realize that love does not carry a price tag.
