Jiang Ye

In the ancient world lies a prophecy: Upon the arrival of Yama, the world will be thrown into chaos.

In Chang An, capital of Tang, General Xuan Wei was accused of treason because he offended Great General Xiang Hou, leading to the execution of all of his family members. Amidst the incident, a young boy named Ning Que managed to get away. He escaped into the wilds where he survived through his wits and by committing murder. One day, he dugs a little girl named Sang Sang out of a pile of corpses. Since then, the two of them become inseparable. Ning Que joins the frontier military, and along with Sang Sang, eventually becomes part of the entourage of Princess Li Yu as she travels back to the capital. With their eyes set on the illustrious Tang Academy where both scholars and cultivators are taught, this marks the start of Ning Que and Sang Sang's wondrous adventures.
