Japan, 1950. In a country that still hasn't recovered from the atrocious war, there was one girl who was trying her best to live. Her name was Maki Sawada, 17 years old. To get by, after finishing school she started working as a "bus girl," doing her best every day as a bus conductor. As she devoted herself to her job, she got a chance to meet many different people... This is a moving story about living life with a positive attitude in an era where the scars of war still remain.
