Tae Hyeonwook, a police officer and an unexpected foodie, conceals his dejected heart when he hears that two of his friends, Minseok and Heeseon, will get married soon. Although his romantic relationship with Heeseon fizzled out in high school, Hyeonwook remained a good friend to her, though he still harbored feelings for her. After the couple held their wedding at a restaurant Minseok's friend, Seo Wonyoung, owns, Hyeonwook sees Wonyoung sobbing and chugging down alcohol while calling out Minseok's name.
