The Knight and Her Emperor

Young Pollyanna is abandoned by her family and forced to become a knight in hopes that she'll die on the battlefield. Knowing her greatest revenge would be to live, Pollyanna puts her all into becoming a knight worthy of respect. When she's captured by the invading King Luxos I, rather than killing her, he offers her a place at his side, helping him to conquer the continent. Pollyanna pledges to become his knight and dedicates herself to his cause. But what happens when the young king slowly realizes, battle after battle, that this stalwart knight has conquered not only his enemies, but his heart as well?
