Although he entered university, Tatsuhiro Satou dropped out after two years and became a shut-in. One day, through a chance encounter during a religious solicitation, he meets Misaki Nakahara, a high school girl who makes him an unexpected offer:
“I’m an angel sent to save young people lost in life—so I’m going to help you, Satou-kun.”

Thus begins Misaki’s “Shut-in Recovery Counseling.”
Every night in a nearby park, the bizarre counseling sessions unfold. Meanwhile, Satou and his few friends, including Yamazaki, hatch a plan to create adult-oriented hypnosis audio content, dreaming of a dramatic turnaround in their unremarkable lives.

Then, one day while Satou is watching an adult video site with his VR headset, he sees someone unexpected—a senior from his former school’s literature club, someone he had long admired.
The sight shakes his brain to the core, and his sense of self begins to crumble…
