Rensley Mallosen, the illegitimate prince of Cornia, is sent away to the frigid lands of Oldenlandt, disguised as a princess to wed the dreaded Grand Duke Zvendard. Planning to escape before the marriage ceremony, he remains silent, his face veiled.
