Mahoutsukai to Aka no Pilgrim

The world is in a perilous state with wizards preying on ordinary humans to satisfy their desires. Howcuttle, a wizard afflicted with an endless hunger, sets out to find a way to end his curse when he meets a young girl named Beni. Although she seems frail, the truth is that Beni is cursed with a poisonous, immortal body. However, it becomes clear that she has no perspective of the outside world, leaving her with only pure innocence and an unknown origin.

Interested in seeing the world Howcuttle talks about, Beni decides to tag along with him. Although the world is ghastly, their new journey together uncovers much more beyond the desolation.
